This adorable worksheet features cute cartoon characters in full color. It is designed to test the child’s knowledge of the alphabet.

There is a selection of 7 words relating to the theme of Thanksgiving and the child is to write the 7 words in alphabetical order.

The worksheet is made more challenging by featuring two words beginning with the same letter.

2) Color by Number Thanksgiving Turkey Worksheet

This worksheet is great for preschoolers in particular because it requires very little reading. They get to color in a big, huge turkey, perhaps the most emblematic of Thanksgiving motifs.

And they do so by number – each section is given a specific number and each number is associated with a particular color, as specified above in the drawing.

The child must color the turkey according to the code, which helps reinforce their learning of both colors and numbers.

3) Free Thanksgiving Math Activity – Hundreds Chart Pilgrim Hat Mystery Pictures

This worksheet tests the child’s ability to recognize colors, and to follow instructions. They are presented with two grids, one with squares numbered 1 through 100, and one with 100 blank squares. 

The child must color each square on the blank grid, as per the corresponding number on the numbered grid. When finished they will have a picture of a pilgrim’s hat.

4) Thanksgiving Reading Comprehension Worksheet: Turkey 

This turkey themed set of worksheets test the child’s reading and comprehension.

First they read a passage of text, complete with a handy glossary, and then there are a series of questions for them to answer on the next sheet to check their comprehension.

The children have to work out the answers to 12 different sums, using a mixture of addition and subtraction.

Now, this worksheet pushes kids a little further in their math than merely addition and subtraction, and also requires them to sometimes know tables.

But it is much more fun than regular math worksheets. First they need to look at four sums to work out what numbers are represented by certain pictures.

Then once they have worked this out they can work out the remaining sums lower down on the page.

This thanksgiving themed worksheet is a twist on the traditional style of word search puzzle, in that instead of having a list of words to find in the grid, the child instead has to think up all the words they can on the theme, and study the grid to see if those words are there.

If they find these words correctly spelled out in the grid, then they can use their writing skills to write these words on the lines provided.

15) Turkey Coordinate Graph Worksheet

Now, this is a thanksgiving worksheet with a difference! The first worksheet features sets of coordinates that the child is to plot out onto a graph on the second worksheet provided.

This is a great way to test children’s mathematical abilities. And as they draw lines from point to point, they should eventually create an image of a Thanksgiving turkey on the graph, if it is all done correctly.

We recommend that the children do this activity in pencil so that if they make a mistake they can simply erase it and try that section again, so they can still finish with a nice picture even if they have to make several attempts.
